Biography
The French duo Acid Washed (Richard d’Alpert and Andrew Claristidge) create an electronic fusion of late 90s house and DFA disco anthems that acknowledge the influence of the Chicago and Detroit scenes. Collaboration is the key to Acid Washed: Xavier Naudascher & Gavin Russom (Death From Abroad/ DFA), Turzi (Record Makers), Christophe Chassol (Sébastien Tellier, Phoenix) have all worked with the duo. In 2010, Acid Washed performed in major US venues in New York (Tribeca Grand Hotel, Highline Ballroom, PS1) and in Chicago (at Metro).
