Drummer, percussionist, singer-composer and record producer Stephane San Juan was born in France where he started to work as a musician at the age of 17, then lived in many countries like Bangladesh, Cuba, England, Mali, Senegal before moving to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2002 and stayed until 2017 when he made New York his permanent home. where leading his own projects as well as collaborating with Bernard Purdie, On Fillmore (Glenn Kotche/Darin Gray) and Yuka Honda. San Juan’s recording and touring career includes work with Amadou & Mariam, Andy Sheppard, Caetano Veloso, Elza Soares, Eumir Deodato, Gilles Peterson’s Sonzeira, Jane Birkin, Jean-Claude Vannier, Joao Donato, Kassin, Manu Dibango, Marcos Valle, Rodrigo Amarante, Seu Jorge, Wilson das Neves and many more.

Vitor Gonçalves is a pianist, accordionist, composer and arranger from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After an illustrious career as an in demand musician in Brazil, playing with such icons as Hermeto Pascoal, Maria Bethânia, Itiberê Zwarg, Paulo Moura, Zé da Velha, Elza Soares, Emílio Santiago and many others, he made the move to New York City, where he currently resides. Since arriving here in 2012, he has garnered much acclaim and built a star lighted resume, including features in NPR’s Jazz Night in America, hosted by Christian McBride, The New York Times, and Fox News. A frequent resident on the stages of Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Jazz Standard, and the Jazz Gallery, he both leads his own projects, and collaborates with figures in the New York scene such as Anat Cohen, Vinícius Cantuária, Anthony Wilson, Cyro Baptista, and others.

Eduardo Belo is a New York based bass player from Brazil that is known for his versatility, switching from Brazilian music and Jazz fluidly. He has worked with artists such as Claudio Roditi, Steve Wilson, Kevin Hays, Bebel Gilberto, Clarica Assad, Duduka da Fonseca, Chico Pinheiro and many more.
