NPR posts globalFEST concerts from Zaz and Mayra Andrade!

The sold-out 2012 edition globalFEST may have came to a conclusion last weekend, but don’t worry if you weren’t able to get into Webster Hall as NPR has you covered! Relive the evening with the audio performances of Zaz and Mayra Andrade as they take to the stage at one of the most important world music festivals in North America. Practice your French a bit with Zaz’s performance, especially before the halfway mark when she calls forward someone to translate for her in between songs. Zaz and bureauexport have worked with one another to support her debut album’s international reception, assisting her recognition worldwide through promotional campaigns in Europe as well as the United States. In summer 2011, bureauexport helped Zaz launch a promotional campaign to create awareness for the U.S. release of her debut album as well as her first American concert dates.

bureauexport assisted Mayra Andrade in 2009 to support the release of her album Storia Storia in Brazil, as well as tour and showcase support in the United States and Canada. Previously, bureauexport and Mayra Andrade collaborated around her 2007 Womex showcase performance and her promotional trip to the United Kingdom early in her international music career.
