Known in America primarily for her film and modeling careers, Vanessa made her musical debut in 1987 with her single, “Joe le Taxi”. In the years since, she has continued to earn acclaim as a singer, serving as muse to such varied songwriters and producers as Serge Gainsbourg, Lenny Kravitz and the French electropop star Matthieu Chedid. Her upcoming greatest hits album, Vanessa Paradis Best Of (Decca Records), will be available everywhere on 2/15. The release will be followed up by American concerts on 2/16 at The Town Hall N.Y.C. and 2/18 at The Orpheum Theatre in L.A.
