Metronomy supporting Coldplay: Coachella and North American dates announced
Metronomy just confirmed several new North American tour dates throughout March, April, and ending in May. The quartet will be busy with their own headlining tour, Coachella, and supporting Coldplay.
The quartet have also announced they will release two 7”s as part of this year’s Record Store Day, both 7”s are covers of Metronomy songs, one deftly handled by band member Oscar Cash and one, beautifully reworked by the Consort Audio Nova. You can listen to Consort Audio Nova’s contribution here:
Oscar’s offering features “Love Underlined” and “Corinne” taken from their 2011 album The English Riviera. Both 7”s are available from Because Music on April 21st.

Metronomy and bureauexport have collaborated most recently around their 2011 album The English Riviera, providing assistance for their 2011 summer European tour including a promotional trip to Germany. In the United States, Metronomy also received the support of bureauexport and its network for their 2008 album Nights Out for their US and Canada summer tour dates as well as support for an internet, radio and press promotional campaign around the album.
