New Music Videos
Some very special new music videos for our France Rocks music fans with a penchant for dreamy, vintage visuals (including work directed by none other than Michel Gondry). Check out the videos below and pay attention for new tour dates!
Wax Tailor – “Seize the Day” featuring Charlotte Savary. In the same vein as Tailor’s popular track, “Que Sera” with lovely, ethereal vocals from Charlotte Savary and old-fashioned of a paper doll boy navigating an eerie world of wind-up paper doll adults. Pretty cool!
Isaac Delusion – “Children of the Night”. We’re spreading more of our love for this electro-pop group that Resident Advisor describes as ‘’perfect for lovers’ mixtapes” and “crush grooves” with this mime and zombie-friendly video. Check France Rocks for updates on the release of their first album, coming this spring.
Metronomy – “Love Letters”. Directed by none other than Michel Gondry (director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and music videos for White Stripes and countless others…) among New album, Love Letters is out March 10th (Because Records). Here’s the official video to that album’s title track, complete with 60s style costume, harmonies, and playful psychedelic set design. Be sure to see the band as they tour the US starting in May!
Cleo.T – “We All”. A Parisian songwriter with an inimitable cabaret style, Cleo T will transport you to the grandest of swing era scenes described as “chiaroscuro theatre”. Cleo was in good company on her debut record Songs of Gold and Shadow with production by John Parish (P J Harvey) and some lyrics written by the great Robert Wyatt.
